Welcome to the Virtual Resource Community. True, we're not a blue dot on any Rand McNally map, but we hope to become a spirited and involved community none-the-less.

More than two years ago dreamers, planners, and academicians at the Jordan Institute for Families and the School of Social Work began developing a resource for scholars, social workers, policy makers, families, and interested individuals.

We wanted a place where people could find, exchange, and share information about families. A place alive with learning and informed debate. And a place where leading social worker researchers could be accessed and questioned. We wanted a community.

Concept is now reality, thanks in part to the Frances C. and William P. Smallwood Foundation. We've built a library, a government hall, and a community center with a lecture hall and information desk. And…we've only just begun. Nose around, and drop by often. New developments are around the corner.
